How to make a claim

Unfortunately, accidents, losses and injuries happen, and that’s what we’re here for.

Using our simple online claim form is easy, allowing you to make a claim online at any time, for losses on your UK or Overseas Home insurance policies.  Just click on the 'Get Started' button on the right and provide us with as much information as possible and attach any supporting documentation in the area provided.

One of our specialist team will then contact you to get the ball rolling and remember - the more detail you can give us in your form, the quicker we can help you get your claim resolved.

What to expect

You only find out the true value of your insurance in the event of a claim.  From your first claim enquiry, our aim is for a fast, fair and supportive service, with the minimum of fuss.

If the insurer deals with directly with you, we can still help and advise you should you have any queries concerning the policy cover, claim service or process.

 

Are you covered?

It is a good idea to read through your policy wording to check that you're covered before making a claim.  Please take a look at the documents and any additional documents we sent you when you bought your policy or made a change to your cover.

Your documents will tell you what your excess you have to pay (an excess is the first amount of each claim that you are responsible for) and if you have a 'No Claim Discount' that may be affected should you make a claim.

 

Emergency repairs

If you need to make temporary emergency repairs, then don't wait to speak to us, get them carried out as soon as practicable to prevent further loss or damage, but make sure you retain any invoices that may form part of your claim.  Before any additional repair work begins, we may wish to inspect the damaged property.
